Semester One
12/7/2016- Final contact sheet for trick/ illusion project. See gallery page for purpose and how that was achieved. We spoke earlier and you said I could leave it on there.
What's up paula
11/15/2016- trick photography contact sheet. Relying heavily on depth of field, one subject was placed close to the camera as another was stood or positioned further in the background. The two subjects were posed and interacting despite being far away. Framing was also used to make the subject up close almost take over the photo, while the person in the bak fights to keep out of his mouth.
11/16/16- The goal of these pictures was to take many angles of toys that could be used later on in an edit. We also had to take pictures that could be used as a background for the toys to be put in. We used many rules of composition some of which were, framing, fill the frame, rule of thirds, perspective, and depth of field.
11/2/16- The goal of this project was to take photos and edit them to make them creepy. They were supposed to be unsettling and this was achieved through framing, exposure, and tutorials that we were given. I came up with these all at different times. The house I thought could become creepy if it the lighting was chamged tp focus on the dark parts of it. The second picture was from a day of the dead display and I thought if you take away all the colors that make that holiday festival so vibrant and instead put in devil eyes it would create an unsettling photo. The cow I found while camping and realized how creepy it is without edits and though if it was in the only thing not in color, it would look even worse. My favorite of these three is the last one with the cow. I believe it has the best composition out of all of my photos. However, the strongest aspect of all of these photos is the framing and compostition used.
10/24/2016- This is a contact sheet made up of creepy or unsettling photos. This was achieved through framing, exposure, and focal points. Less important rules used were depth of field, rule of odds and rule of thirds. There was no specific setting required the only requirement was that these photos were weird. Odd focal points were very important in doing this.
